Really? You're going down that route?
I read a story in simon kupers, football against the world, said that the argies when winning the world cup all had to take a drug test, this being before the days when its better policed, they basically just gave them jars to fill and left them, when the results came back it turned out two of the players were pregnant, I dont know who pissed in them jars but im guessing it wasnt the players, despite maradona achieving the impossible of looking preggers and being a raging beak headProbably not in 82 and 86, but I think he probably was in 90
In 86 he benefitted from being surrounded by a much stronger group of supporting players than they are given credit for and a run against European teams in extreme heat when it got to the knock outs

steven gerrard will be best premier league player if liverpool win one title? sorry how many titles did keane, cantona, viera or bergkamp win
Giggs had won nine premiership title for starters
Giggs had won nine premiership title for starters
Gerrard 1 CL 1 League
Giggs 2 CL 13 League
Maradonna had one good World Cup and one good season at Napoli
He had to cheat just to beat England FFS
How good can you really be when you have to do that?
I know this open the gates of hell upon me, but sod it
I don't like the cheating little gnome and never will
Had bad tournaments in 82 and 90 and got done for doping in 94
Phil Neville 6 titles
Steven Gerrard potentially 1 title
yea, some people are just weird http://thescore.thejournal.ie/liam-whelan-bridge-defaced-1414982-Apr2014/when did they do that, don't tell me it was yesterday?
I was using good players a reference though
didnt matthaus completely mark him out the game a few times, so my dad tells me anywayMaradona's the greatest of all time. Even Engländers recognise this. He was outstanding for 10 years, not even the likes of Platini, Matthäus and Gullit weren't at his level. He had a great world cup in '82, and was superlative in '90. '86 he was beyond-words. Even in 94 he was very good. Just look at the goals he scored at these tournaments, how important they were. Then go further and look at the full matches to see his dominating creative influence.
Messi and Cronaldo? What have they ever done on the biggest stage of all?
And at club-level, hat Maradona did at Napoli (over several seasons, not just one, has never been repeated. He scored almost 1-in-2 in 200 games for them...he was a midfielder or at his most advanced a Beardsley-position.
It's like Messi coming to Newcastle and within 5 years he's scored 100 goals, they've won a couple of titles, couple of cups and a European trophy. Easily their most successful period in their entire history.
Is Messi that good that he alone could inspire that?
