Further Chico, I have copied your sociological analysis and put it in a word doc on my desktop labelled 'Chico'....it is that good. Zealots of any denomination are (to my mind) not well balanced people. The fundamentalism of LFC is distinctly unhealthy...like a feral virus. The only good thing to come out of RS challenging for the title, is that people like me, living 12,000 miles away, have been shown in unequivocal fashion and multitudinous example, what a horrible lot Evertonians at ground zero, in Merseyside, have to contend with in their daily lives.
Respect...maximum respect.

Another interesting aspect of the 7th to 1st usually being something we'd all be cheering on, is the fact that we are hoping that City or Chelsea win...and frankly, they represent everything that is wrong with the game financially.

We hate them for buying titles...just not as much as them lot and their cult followers.
nailed it

To push my tired analogy further - the symbolism of The Miracle Of Istanbul being demeaned by Crystal Palace ruining St Stevie's planned canonising is beautiful to behold.
nothing tired about your analogy mate...I do not think I have ever read (on a football forum), words of such perspicacity....and ironic humour (the smartest kind imo)

Perfect summation of the whole nest of them Chico. Watched it here in canada today and of course their fans in the bar usual bellends. Not sure what was funnier the looks on their faces at the final whistle or the hoots of laughter from non rs patrons.

I just read your entire piece on the main GOT page Chico. I shall be sending that link to EVERYBODY in my 'people of personal importance' address book . God, we are lucky to be Everton....thank you for being part of that fraternity.

...that is beautiful phraseology...kudos

The Internet is a finer place when Liverpool lose.

Some of those Gerrard and Ba memes/gifs are breathtaking.

My mate txt me last night "Imagine we win it now lad, Bigger and better than 2005"

I'm now in the worried camp

Please stop posting Del, my emotions are all over the place.

Its just sat there in the back of my mind, Imagine City getting beaten by West Ham last day of the season ffs

City have a boss home record though and Villa/West Ham are poor sides away from home

Ha ha Myne aswell. Liverpool have had more luck in my life time than any other team ever. City just have to win there two games and hopefully its city's. Villa and west ham won't roll over that's for sure but city will want this
