On Talksport before they had a journo on who said fans should show Stevie G more respect as he's a model professional. He listed the places they were singing that song today, including even at the Norwich v Arsenal game...

hahahahahahahaha my god, this is going to be brilliant.

haha yeah I heard that, don't normally bother with TS but today's a bit different

unfortunately for the journo's most football fans know exactly what Stevie Lar is all about

Can't believe they blew it. I was absolutely convinced it was theirs.

I was saying this earlier. After that City win, I'd already accepted it. To the point I told myself it was a good thing it happened with a few games to go like it did so I had the chance to properly come to come to terms with it.

There's a few reds I'm close to, my dad and old neighbour especially, seeing how happy they were at the time and how crushed they are now was a bit sad. But then you see their fans as a whole group, the guards of honour coming into the ground, the unbearable twitter warriors and the make us believe crew, RAWK in general and you really couldn't imagine enjoying football any less if they had a title to harp on about for the next 20-30 years. It really would have been enough to put me off football. Would certainly have ruined the world cup.

Fights kicking off in the Willie Gladstone in town apparently. Police presence there. Mate reckons the Stevie G songs played a part...

yeah it's this for me, it's the huddle, the fkn stupid huddle

i know about the detrimental effect that the premature guard of honour will have had, it was a sports psychologists nightmare, but to be honest that's their fans isn't it, that's what they're like, and then they get the out of towners without the tickets and so need something they can jump on the bandwagon with and feel part of the whole cult

but the huddle, the fkn huddle, on the pitch, in front of everyone, so the cameras and the microphones could all get it, I can't tell you how glad I am it bit them on the fkn @rse

Agreed mate. Cringe at the huddle and them clinging onto this #wegoagain shyte. Guard of honour and banners were an absolute embarrassment but the thing for me which I mentioned when it happened was Rogers walking to the centre circle and clapping the whole of the stadium as if he had just won the league. That for me showed that he thought it was job done. The armband thing was another thing, jumping on something because he thought he could use the timing of the event. Boss day today, great win, shyte lost the league and watched the u18's win and now for a few beverages to round off a quality day. Unlucky u scarf wearing Kopite meffs
