Brendan Rodgers could be good in the transfer market or he could be bad. Llalana will be a capture and so would Luke Shaw. They NEED a central defender with awesomeness otherwise they'll be slipping down the table and out the champions league.

I am being a bit sarcastic, mate. I can imagine Chelsea wanting him but they're conscious of FFP. Maybe they would put Fernando on the table to try and help balance the books. I don't imagine the RS would go for it though. It seems more likely that he'll return to Athletico in part-exchange for Costa.

Llalana could be a flash in the pan there is no way of knowing yet, Your also paying through the nose because he's English

Rodgers is awful in the transfer market, For every Sturridge there's a Aspas/Allen/Sakho/Alberto/Borini/Ilori

You have just stated as fact that Llalana would be a capture at 20m+, How can you know this, Is it not heard of for a player to have a few good seasons at a mid table club, Move to a top 6 side and struggle

If the lad was Spanish he would be worth about half

I'm of the impression that Sturridge was the board's buy. Liverpool were supposedly offered him in the summer but Rodgers didn't rate him. He signed up in January as Rodgers summer transfer buys were deemed a disappointment.
