Apparently they've won the TV table or something.

Morons couldn't even do the title right.

A friend of a friend posted this on FB after the CP draw:D

"We go again! We continue to march into a bright future! This season has been fantastic not just for us and our team but for the premier league in general. The competitiveness and sheer emotions over this whole season has been unprecedented! We are top of the league after 37 games, we have the best u21 year old on the planet, the best strike pairing in world football, young hungry players in every position who will continue to develop and to top it off we have Shankly 2.0!

This mornings result hurt like only football can but the positives are so many that I just cant wait for the next game! Its not over, this is football, but even if we dont win the league its been a tremendous effort by the lads and i cannot wait for us to push on!

Onwards and upwards! We are the best supporters in the world and even the haters watch our games because we are football!"

WE ARE LIVERPOOL!

Is that the lad who knew a lad who drinks with Nolan and Carroll and reckoned they were well up for the Man City game?

I'm surprised that the Premier League and SKY didn't just declare Liverpool Champions anyway.

Edit the footage so it looked like West Ham won and just say all the City fans imagined it

Hastily fill Anfield again and pretend it's yesterday and give Gerrard the title

They've missed a trick here

Yesterday was fantastic. Liverpool won't get near the title next year - United will have a proper manager, Everton will be even stronger, Arsenal will be, City are Champions and favourites again IMO and Chelsea will be up and around 1st/2nd.

City had a nightmare start to the season getting beaten by Villa and Sunderland, I don't see that happening again and they will add depth to there back 4

Chelsea sign a few top strikers and there set imo

Arsenal,Utd,Everton and Spurs will all strengthen

A lot hinges on them keeping the rat, He goes and they will drop like a stone, No way you can replace someone who contributes to over 40 of the goals this season

It's exactly this that will be killing them today.

For all their bluster they know...just know... that they had both hands on their Holy Grail and let it slip away.

Now their aim becomes one of praying Suarez doesn't leave for a team that can actually win things, because if he does Brendan will waste most of it on average players.

Next season most Premiership teams will have adapted to their hoofball style, and I fully expect the better Champions League teams to deal with it exactly as Chelsea did at Anfield.

Happy days :)

looks like lallana to them could happen then, very good player..but i would have though thats one position they dont need to strengthen! unless they are going all out spending crazy...for me they need 3 or 4 defenders and another centeral midfielder or two

Spending the Suarez money

I think Jose wins it next year

Liverpool will be in the hunt I think

Depends on whether they keep Suarez or not to be honest

If he has a good World Cup, I can see offers coming in
They wont fall away from the top four. They'll spend £60/70M (of course we all know they're a pauper's club who spend nothing).

However, the schedule will be too much for them to get at City/Chelsea. If they fell 2 points short this time with a free run at the PL (not a high points tally required this season either) they are guaranteed to drop around 6-9 points next season playing Tue/Sat or Wed/Sun.
