he's only worth half that. if real madrid were to spend that type of money, they'd want a real galactico, like they did with bale, someone who stands up to be counted and takes a massive game by the scruff of the neck scoring the really big goals against the big teams and in the last minute etc. suarez simply doesn't do that. why would they pay £70m because he scores 4 vs norwich, 3/4rs of the spanish league are average who anyone could score against.
pointless paying that much if he's not going to score in the big games, they buy these players to make a difference when it matters against barca, atletico and in the CL, not to beat the rest of the spanish fodder.
pretty sure liverpool couldn't put one specific team in his clause btw, there has been nothing close to real madrid showing any sign of interest. just because there's so much liverpool influence in the media he gets talked up as being a lot better than he is.
