But we ain't talking about Kone' are we? Kone' is turd IMO but he's been out for a season so gets the benefit of the doubt. Whether he's turd or not though doesn't change the fact that Lambert is turd. They will get a season out if that yard dog. Anyone who thinks Lukaku had a poor first touch, Christ on a bike Lambert is shocking. He's a Kopite though so will fit in well with that lot

You know mate I think this is because of the Chelsea game, no plan B after they were found out! This is brilliant you can still smell the hurt!
 
Whether he is mince or not, (I happen to think he is ok as it happens), he scored quite a few for them, so I cant really see what Southampton get out of this. £4m is loose change these days, especially if they get gazillions for Shaw, Lalanna, etc.

One lad said something about being part of a Lalanna deal, which might be true, but selling one of your top goal scorers for buttons seems odd.
 

Next season - Suarez plagued with injuries and Liverpool's games are a mess of Big Lambo and Sturridge bumping into each other chasing Stevie's balls of wisdom.

It's defo a kneejerk reaction to the jibes of 'no plan B'.

Well done Brendan. We just need you to leave that defence well alone now. You're a fantastic attacking force...you dont need a defence, it'll slow you down lad.

to solve the defence he'll sell agger, their best defender, and rely on what's currently there/buy another jarg defender who scores goals like sakho.

Thing is though Del: he scores about 13 right now and he's coming into a team where the two top dogs have rattled in 51 between them. He'll come in handy in some games, yeah. But this isn't the way to get a strike force that resembles City's...who are the benchmark.

Maybe they'll do better business. Long way to go this summer. But that looks a strange move for a team that's supposed to be looking to go for a title and a decent CL campaign
