I've heard this. Rodgers fooled everyone into believing tiki taki was the way forward before adopting the Wimbledon playbook of strategy.........genius.....
 
If it's only £4m, it's actually great business for a club who have money burning a hole in their pocket. An avid fan who scores goals, and gives them something different.
 

Lambert is nowhere near the class required to be title challengers. If he has any sense about him he'll say where he is. Why in the prime of your career go somewhere where you are blatantly going to be on the bench as the plan B for 'dem Chelsea games' and just come off to have balls battered into you from 60 yards by Gerrard. I would love it if Brenda was finally allowed his dream of resurrecting mid table fc. He was going so well with Allen and Borini before the committee forced Surridge and Coutinho upon him. Now that he's 'proven' himself as the genius we all know he is I think he should be allowed free reign at all his top targets: Lambert Lallana Williams Diame Vorm. Make it happen Brendan, these are your title winners right here. No need for internationals like Agger, Lucas and Reina.
 
Hey. I'm not arsed who they sign, but like Kone he has done well for himself at a reasonable level, £4m isn't a huge amount and he does score.

England striker too, his worth won't go down. Just saying where they usually spend £11m or £10m in one shot on an unknown this is cracking business.
 
Lambert won't even fit their style. Swift through ball to the fast merchants up front with Hendo chasing after the scraps. Is Lmabert supposed to pelt after these. Would love it if Brendan brought the 'tiki-taka' back and we got to watch Gerrard and Henderson trying to achieve intricate passing like we did in brendan's first season and at the Euros. Good job no one would ever select them in that role for England again......

I was going to post this exact same sentiment - this write-up is not original and is as insincere and mealy-mouthed as you can get.

I've also seen a few online posts recently bemoaning the fact that the RS 'lost out' on trophies due to Heysel. Absolutely effing disgusting. And they have the bare-faced cheek to call us bitters? :rant:

It is outrageous.

The moral inequivalence of LFCs treatment of Hillsborough and Heysel is stomach churning.

People died in both instances. You cant want the truth on one then deny the other.

I liked the Juve websites statement on the lesson of Heysel
