ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

My mate said Johnson has been terrible at times this season and they're not offering him a new contract apparently. On £100k I think.

i haven't seen a defender so bad at actually being a defender in recent times, not commanding the sort of fee he did, being on as big of wages as he is and being first choice for their country.

england will get mullered down that side of the pitch in the world cup, they really should be picking phill jones for defensive solidarity, they're not going to outscore that calibre of opponent so there's no point in having two full backs both bombing down the pitch like they do - they're not everton ffs!

johnson's defending for, i think it was palace's 2nd was utterly horrendous. i thought he was decent at chelsea, but i was younger and only saw the attacking points to his game.

Apparently I have to post this in here...

Liverpool's article about Heysel on their OS is a disgrace:

"Instead of leaving Brussels having seen our team lift a fifth European Cup, Reds fans travelled back to England having witness the deaths of 39 football supporters."

I'd prefer that young lad of theirs whose on the back up list, at least he can tackle.

So badly worded it's untrue, focussing on them not winning a trophy first as if what happened is something to be annoyed at. That's not even getting into the fact that it was some of their own nobjockey fans who caused those deaths.

Almost as if it was written by a Norwegian and put in Google translate or something.

norwegian's have great english though, they may insinterpret things, but it takes a god damn fool to place a football trophy as a priority above human life.

anyway, bing translator is on the way up

I've posted this status on facebook:

"Today is an anniversary that should be more actively remembered, not only for the 39 lives lost and 600+ injured, but for the huge impact it had upon football both in this country and around Europe."

I've already been accused of c**tish behaviour and asked how low can I go. Sigh.
