Whether he is mince or not, (I happen to think he is ok as it happens), he scored quite a few for them, so I cant really see what Southampton get out of this. £4m is loose change these days, especially if they get gazillions for Shaw, Lalanna, etc.

One lad said something about being part of a Lalanna deal, which might be true, but selling one of your top goal scorers for buttons seems odd.

i'm not saying BBC is a reputable source but they only have a story about lambert there (haven't actually opened it so it may mention the other two but reckon that would have been in the title), all these rumours about other players being involved seem to be coming from kopites, probably because they don't want to believe the realisation that they're getting the worst of the three hopefuls you mentioned there.

when a team is linked to a player and then later get linked to another player from that club, there's always some source that seems to think both transfers are then related.

I get that, but what if spurs now offer more money for lallana? Don't understand why it isn't a double bid straight away?

Hahaha my Kopite mate has said exactly the same thing apart from he said the sell on fee was 25%.

They don't tend to post things with no foundation and seem to get it right.
