.....apparently Suarez's 'solicitor' has come out and said it would be very hard to resist an approach from Real Madrid. I wonder if this is the start of the inevitable. It'll all end in tears.

I very much hope so. Because of him they were a solid back line away from pissing the league last season. They will spend on that defence this summer so I hope Madrid come in for him as they couldn't replace him.

A welcome return to one of the season's most satisfying photos.

Liverpool's end of season awards - the night after they collapsed under the pressure of the title race at Selhurst Park. That marvellous moment captured when they realised they weren't good enough.

Not enough pairs of brown shoes for my liking

actually dont know what i would want more. Him to stay ( hes not having as good season as this one ever again) or him to go ( rs gets abut +£90m to splash)
90m to spend, imagine it. They got 50m and paid 35m for Carroll.

Clubs would instantly up their prices, they'd pay 30m for Lallana, and over pay on others.

Give me the option of keeping a talent who's proven, or getting 90m to spend on the squad and i'd pick the player everytime.

yea, i want the rat out of PL

Sewerz could well go the way of Torres if Libpewlfutbolclub keep hold of him. For self preservation he should get out now.

Brent has no idea how to keep his squad fit europe and the league.

this is what i believe, which is why i don't want to see them sell him this summer. his price will be at his highest and it will be a big risk given his knee problem. he obviously won't turn to utter turd like torres did, but he may not be the same player.

just look at how spurs spunked away all that money. got one or two good buys out of it.

as opposed to the £60m (approx.) they've already spent on their current backline which is one of the worst in the league?

And by the same token City were a fully fit Aguero away from doing the same. One of those is a lot easier to fix.
