CHAMPIONS AT CHRISTMAS !!!

It's the absolute slap bang as a side they will be without Suaez I'm looking forward to!

Another false dawn comes and gos!

I don't think Rodgers has ability in the transfer market to mitigate his loss! Enjoy the CL while you can!
It will be like the Bale loss to Spurs, the signings he is making will have the same effect.

Luis Suarez apology: Liverpool had no prior knowledge of statement as striker seeks to clear way for £80m Barcelona transfer

Luis Suarez has finally issued an apologyfor biting Giorgio Chiellini six days after the event, in what is regarded a move to clear the way for his transfer to Barcelona.

The Liverpool striker’s public statementwas at odds with the official line of the Uruguay football association (AUF) and its president Wilmar Valdez who, along with the manager Oscar Tabarez, has stopped well short of making an apology.

Suarez tweeted the statement this evening, amid a stand-off between the AUF and Fifa that has become increasingly tense. Suarez, banned for nine competitive international games, and from all football for the next four months, is likely still to appeal elements of the ban.

Liverpool had no involvement in the apology, and no prior warning it was coming. It is understood Suarez also acted independently of AUF. It would appear that Suarez and his agent Pere Guardiola were the driving force behind it with a move to Barcelona their primary target this summer.

Most of the Liverpool fans I know now have lost it with Suarez, they're looking to cash in and consider it good riddance, one too many.

RAWK on the other hand, still offers endless entertainment. Not even allowed to acknowledge what is looking more likely to be a certain transfer. Over there, it's as though them even discussing the possibility makes it more likely, so the mods just can't bear to hear it. Much better to bury your head in the sand.

That is brilliant. Get's all the backing in the world from his own country and then goes and does what he did to the club he plays for: takes his kecks down and dumps all over them.

That feller is driven by one emotion only: ambition for himself. All that stuff about 'Garra Charrua' was actually spot on...but it's to succeed at all costs with everyone and everything else viewed as collateral damage along the way.

I do understand the Kopites putting that specimen up on a pedestal though; he's a perfect reflection of their own club's attitude down the years. A very fitting totem for LFC Suarez is....well, was. Lol.
