Ha Ha Ha. FFS, the lad turned Bayern Munich down a year ago.

They are a wonderful source of fun at times like this. Their pride has been knocked for six and they need a fix.

One of the units on RAWK have malfunctioned and come out with a clear headed reasonable post:

The guy signed a contract just over 6 months ago, comedy gold. The way how him and his agent engineer moves it's like clock work, bite, moan about the media, sell yourself to anybody who wants to buy. The same thing happened last year, the only thing that's different is the order which each thing happened. Each year he's been here there's been speculation about him and he's people wanting to move. From the moment the ink dried on his contract in December his people were planning to move him on this summer. I don't get people saying DON'T SELL!!!, what more can the club do?. They gave him the best contract any player has had in the history of the football club just over 6 months ago. And now after biting someone AGAIN!!!, the first thing on his mind is how can I get out of LFC, great player but he doesn't give a stuff about the club. The only thing the club can do is get the best possible deal that will help the team, do people really think the club wants to sell their best player after giving him a contract less than a year ago?....no. But they have bent over backwards to try and make him happy, no matter what transgressions he's made, but the guy simply doesn't want to be here.

Think thats the difference between the two. Hold up play is good and all but if you can't stick it in the net tben its worthless. Lukaku would bave settled the game in 90 mins with the chances Origi passed up. So many balls across the face of goal, Lukaku would have poached one of them in.

Origi is a good player but he's only a year younger yhan Lukaku. I still think Lukaku has more potential and ability even if he can look lazy on occasion.
 
The key thing here is one of the top 5 players in the world is strolling out of the door, and they are replacing him with Southampton players. Starfish is another season and another disappointment older, and they still haven't solved their defensive issues.

What I'm looking forward to is the"How I reacted to Suarez leaving" stories, which will include;
  • Crying and shaking
  • Gnashing of teeth
  • Shanks would have told him he was staying and the would have been the end of it
  • Posters / Pictures / Signed Village People biker jackets being burned
  • The ludicrous idea that in the long term it will empower the other players and make them a better team

This, sadly. He gets to enjoy every boys dream, and it willl probably end up being more of a lynching, than anything football related.

His replacement will score 2 in the first 5 games, one of RAWK's most rabid thesis writers will create a 5,000 word article outlining why said replacement is actually better than Suarez, and these words will be venerated like the teachings from Mount Sinai.

They will then be 15+ points off the top at xmas and Brendan will be getting it full guns.
