The fraud is deliberately buying young players (or 'wild cards' like SuperLambo) to buy himself more time... the 'next year' motif is not endangered for the foreseeable future.
Fact is, I think they've already bought too many players for there to be a seamless link next season. He brings in 3 or 4 more and he'll have to sell even more players, causing more disruption.
One of the things that helped Liverpool Football Club YNWA last season was the fact his purchases were so universally awful he could play a settled side. Next season with Can, Lambert, Lallana, Origi and whoever else he buys will demand to play a large number of games. Added to that Sterling will want a bigger part this season, as will Lucas if he isn't injured, Enrique too. IT's going to be a headache and not, as the cliches states, one that you want.
Brent doesn't have the nous or the man management skills to keep so many players happy.
Then there's the fact he is ignoring the area of team that requires the most attention. Next year is going to be very, very interesting. Suarez is more important for them than Bale was for SPurs and so far they've bought worse players than Spurs.
They won't finish top 4 and will struggle to finish in the top 6.
