Apparently they've offered £20m for Lovren... and Southampton have turned it down!

The world has officially gone insane... on both counts.

My point was more t
hat given the situation they are in now - keep a player who is a nibble away from a 6 month ban and of an age where injuries may start versus selling for 3/4 decent players able to play the first 9 league games - imo selling Suarez is a good move.

But agree that as soon as Suarez chomped on chenelli it caused Liverpool massive problems - selling him is just making the best of a bad situation.
Having read the previous 6 pages .
It seems unusual that someone can at least see the position that their player left lfc in.
May just turn out to be beneficial to them. With no one player being the top dog ..rat even..
Some childish comments cloud what is an entertaining ...football forum...in my eyes.
Maybe barca dont know what they have let themselves in for..as well as spending all that money that is..
Think also liverpool knew they wouldnt get another year out of suares specially after the arsenal fiasco last summer.
Hence the upgrade in salary with the new terms of release..Seems like suares fell for the trap really.
Dont think theyll be doing any more Andy Carrolls either..once bitten and all that..pun.

Seriously only interested really in what our targets are for the coming season but to revel in someones hopefull demise is somewhat silly when they will be getting paid handsomely for the loss. .Its sensible football business management imo.

He will be a massive loss for them.

No one is suggesting he wouldnt be a massive loss for them.judged by his last term.player of the year on two counts.he would be a loss to any team.
But he leaves with baggage,,unlike bale or ronaldo..when they left our shores.

All i am saying is that fsg were preparing for this move when they gave him the big pay rise with clauses attached.

Its great to laugh about it.But dont you agree that they once again have serious money to spend...like the torres money.
and are very unliklly to spunk it this time.

Someone suggesting earlier that it would be great if we could loan Demba Ba.would be great because it would be good for us as well as upsetting the r/s ....why not just say it would be great for us..wont happen anyway like ..as if..

Like it or not they are also saying that the ground extention in the next few yrs has nothing to do with the money from sales..

Maybe like some other owners ..they can call in their profit one day and sell out...but whos buying at the moment..

All RS stuff aside, I reckon Ba could do a job for us

totally agree walken...
given our environment and support could be amazing.
chelsea snatched him from the geordies as you know and then he seemed to go downhill with torres and eto in front of him somehow prob because of his low fee perhaps..
but sure he could be ready to go for another challange..but loan from chelsea cant see it ..prob want a sale..they have players all over the place as you know.
just bugged me that some one would be pleased as it may upset the r/s if we bought him ...as if..wasnt you was it ..heh heh.
