It was just on the sports section of NW Tonight BBC 1. He did stress it was unconfirmed as I said.

£80 million for him was the same sort of thinking that Kenwrong was using when he was trying to claim Rooney would only be sold for some unimaginable sum. £63 million for someone who has very little Champions League pedigree, and who has his disciplinary record, is an awful lot of money. As bluenosepaul says above, if they spend that on someone decent (though thats a big if) then they could be a lot better than last season.
BBC saying as unconfirmed but that its in the region of £60m + Sanchez
Makes no sense, Barcelona could probably get £20m+ for Sanchez anyway.
That changes things abit, not a bad deal after allBBC saying as unconfirmed but that its in the region of £60m + Sanchez
Oh sure, its a few bob. But in the modern, (mad), football world, and considering his probable position of world strikers, his value without the bans/behaviour would be astronomical. If the reports are true, 75m euros is sub £60m. They have spent that already, pretty much. IF, the profit is given to Rogers, thats circa £35m. Bringing a total spend close to £100m.
And they will not get a player or players anywhere remotely close to what they have lost for £35m these days.
But hey, a great summer rolls on.

Why is Barca getting rid of Sanchez? plus he on world cup duty cant see anything going on with Sanchez while he on duty
That changes things abit, not a bad deal after all
The bans/behaviour are who he is though - its like saying David Villa would be worth a lot more if he wasnt approaching his mid 30s and had a knee made up of wet papier mache; or Kone being worth a lot more if only he could play football.
Add to that his lack of record in the CL and you come to the conclusion that £63 million for him is overpriced; £63 million and Sanchez is utterly insane from the point of view of Barcelona.
The only explanation I can come up with is that Bartomeu must be looking to do some massive tax fiddle.
because they are idiots
