ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I think this upcoming season will be the season when the bubble finally bursts for Wenger

He's going to sign naff all as usual where as everyone else in that mix will sign new players or have money to spend

Wenger will stubbornly not buy anyone, buoyed by the confidence of winning the FA Cup, and he'll fall out of the top 4 as a result
Wenger has just bought a really rather good player already though mate.

You can buy all the quality players you want, but Wenger is clueless more times than not. We played them off the park in the first half at Goodison, we go in 2-0 up, Arsenal come back out in the second half EXACTLY the same! Why didnt he change it? He's done it loads, he's stupidly stubborn.

I do wonder what effect last season still has on the team,it was a massive disaster and I wouldn't be surprised to see a hangover into next season. If Suarez goes then, that's going to be huge for them,Sturridge will be world cup weary also.

Looks like Arsenal will be getting Debuchy and possibly Khedira too. They're definitely improving.

Next season is gonna be tough but we'll still be there fighting for 4th. Cos we're Everton and we're boss.

It'll be the same as this season. Arsenal are still there. United will be challenging again, but Liverpool won't be, so it equals out.

They have nerves of steel when it comes to putting away 7 crap teams 1-0 to clinch 4th, though.

They've done it so many times, it's just second nature to them whereas when we and spurs are in that position we choke completely.

Talk about that game at Goodison all you like, but they went onto win all their remaining games following it and we lost 3 of the next 5.

Arsenal will be a title threat IF they can keep players fit. Ramsey, Wilshere, Ozil, Cazorla, Sanchez, Ox, Walcott - no shortage of offensive power whatsoever. Look how close they were last season with half their players missing.

He's not been outside the top 4 since he arrived 17 years ago... He's really not that bad.

Have to laugh at those thinkin the rs will mount another strong title challenge next season.

They had their chance, they had it won ffs, and they let it slip so beautifully, they wont get it near it once gnashers is gone to Barca .

They need depth and 1 or 2 fantastia's to have a decent stab at it. They also need Wenger to be more flexible. Everything needs to all come together at once for them, where as City and Chelsea will just need to keep it steady

Arsenal will have to hit a home run almost every time they step up to the plate

Similar to us actually. We need a great performance pretty much every time out to keep us in the mix because we just don't have the depth

The thing is whether or not arsenal can win the title doesn't matter. Chelsea and City defo can.

The question is are Liverpool are going to keep their place in the top 4 with Man U once again managed by someone who knows what they're doing? And I think it'll be really hard for them if they have to push Wenger out of those places to do so, Arsenal are really very good at not finishing out of the top 4.

I'd love to join in with the Brenda Bashing but I actually don't think he's THAT bad a manager.

I don't think he's as good as the people on RAWK seem to think, but I don't think he's rubbish or anything

Questionable in the transfer market though, but that could change if his splurge this summer works out for him

I think most of the Brent bashing comes from him being a hypocritical, spineless, philosofeeee abandoning, teeth whitening, wife cheating, mid life crisis-ing, mong who spouts utter tripe and talks in riddles. (It does from me anyway).
He's an average manager and nothing else. He will do ok with Liverpool, but nothing spectacular or come even close to last season again. The only way they will match last season, is by finding the "next Suarez". Players of the highest calibre currently won't join, and Brents scouting judgement is very questionable.

Meh, his personal life is his personal life. I tend to disregard that, unless he's breaking the law or something

As a manager, I think he's basically fine. Not great, but not rubbish either. He knows what he likes and so long as he has the players to do it, it will usually work.

I honestly see the top four next season being City, Chelsea, Arsenal and United (in whatever order) The RS will be an afterthought again.
