ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

He'd be in my top 5 easily. I can't look at his face without wanting to kick his teeth in. All this 'I hope his ban is shortened now' nonsense isn't for me. I don't wish that idiot anything but pain and suffering. Once anyone has left Liberpwel in the past I don't look at them in the same way. I could even watch Mascherano the other night and admire the way he played the defensive midfield role. I can listen to Carragher nowadays and respect him for his opinion without thinking about his whinging to the ref every derby. But with Suarez I hoped something terrible happened to him when he played for them and I still pray he's hit with a career ending injury. I can laugh at Aldo and Thommo and Rusho but with Suarez I despise him.

He's pretty low on my list, I saw him more as a panto villain.

I agree.

We hated him but it is not one of those lasting hatreds.

When all is said and done, no Evertonian could keep hating him after he's gone, given the lol he has provided as he dragged their name through gutter after gutter.

He ain't in the same league as Emlyn Hughes, Tommy Smith, John Aldridge, Jimmy Case, Jamie Redknapp, David James and a whole raft of other genuine hate figures from The Pit down the football decades.

From RAWK:

I agree. What's with this "3rd best player" boll*cks? There's only one other player that bests him, and it's not even by that much, through sheer ability and talent, and you know who that is, and I'm not talking about a certain greasy-headed egotistical [Poor language removed] from Portugal either.

I'm not going to lie. I'm [Poor language removed] gutted. Suarez was a massive part of our team, and I felt that if we wanted to kick on from last season, we 100% needed to keep him. It doesn't matter who we go out and buy now. No one out there can match the talent of the man that's for sale. Suarez is a rare breed. When you mention names like Pele, Cruyff, Zidane, Messi, Maradona, Barnes, Ronaldo (the real one) et al, then you have to mention Suarez in the same breath. People who think he'll fade because he left us are in for a bit of a surprise. He'll rip that Spanish league up, wait and see, and the Champions League as well.

One great season and he's better than Cristiano Ronaldo lol
