They'll surely be looking to bring in some genuine top class talent now as they're signings so far have been pricey yet hardly the type of players to take a team onto the next level.

The Guardian, the BBC and the daily mail are saying £75m.Sky sports are saying 64.4 because guillem balague told them.

uefa.com saying £64.4 as well btw, along with most of the spanish media I believe.

fwiw, I have no idea which fee it is. I do however think it's a bit weird that if Liverpool had extracted the £75m release clause from Barca, why they wouldn't announce it, if only to pacify their fans... and also, can't see Barca negotiating for 10 days, only to pay the full whack

They can only report what the Liverpool spin doctors insinuate, unless of course in the unlikely event they've been involved in the negotiations and seen the contract.

Nobody's mentioned the Ajax cut yet either but that will come soon enough as well I suppose.
