Interesting as ever Dave

Do you see any of Shankly in Martinez?
He's not a rabble rouser like Shankly, but he is a great motivator it seems. I'd say one thing for Shankly: he'd make short work of a chancer like Kenwright. Martinez on the other hand is what he is: a business degree honours graduate who'll see the bigger picture and carry out a plan with 'prudence' in mind.

No joke, this is real

The Christian Socialist movement has a long history going back to the 1850's initially as a counter to the philosophy of laissez faire individualism and more recently as a movement trying to tie the values of Christianity with the aims of socialism.

There's about 40 Labour MP's part of the Christian Socialist movement.

Were they also known as The Fabian Society?

Were they also known as The Fabian Society?
H G Wells was a noted Fabianist. Ironically (or not), David Rockefeller (he of impossible oil/banking wealth) wrote his University thesis on Fabian socialism/economics. I guess that once you have a monopoly/oligopoly, capitalism is a bad thing since it engenders competition.

Just seen the new BT advert, proper, proper kopite channel that. Essentially showed nothing but the Liverpool 5-0 vs Arsenal to get everyone to sign up for the new season.
Just came on here to post the same. Simply beyond a joke. The 6-3 City v Arsenal was a bigger Wow game that they had but they fawn over this shower of self entitled, full kit wearing biffs. They need pulling up over It as it is total bias beyond belief. A disgrace to the game this channel.

No mate, Fabian Society was/is something different. Great Society though, they called for a minimum wage, a universal health service and the abolition of the peerage, all before the end of WW1!
