It isn't just Suarez's goals they're going to miss - it'll be his overall presence on the pitch even moreso. No side in the Prem should be even remotely afraid of Liverpool at this point.

Scored 30 and had 12 assists

God knows how many freekicks/pens he won

Am I right that out of the latest crop of "world class in the making" players they have signed, Lalana is out injured, Can also out, and Remy failed a medical?

So basically, they have Lambert, and that winger, Markovic(?), who has scored like 8 goals ever, all for about £60m quid?

Or have I missed the astuteness that The Echo and Lawro have been banging on about?

It showed at the World Cup. Sturridge did nothing for England because he didnt have a player like Suarez taking defenders all over the place and making space for him.

You wouldn't believe this. Even the Arsenal Fans Forum have a thread about RAWK. That 'rembomb' is mentioned on it hahahahaha. Have a look at the Rodgers/Arthur Fowler going mad video....hilarious

Some funny stuff indeed.....

I was first taken to Anfield by my parents, Dean and Dina, to watch their beloved Aston Villa the season before last. As soon as I was inside, I knew instinctively that I was at the wrong end of the stadium. And not just because I couldn't actually see any of the pitch. I knew that I needed to be part of the passion and pageantry of the Kop - my spiritual home. The wit; the upside down scarves; the banners that make no sense but that sound really, really profound when you scrawl them on your mum's bedsheet on a Friday evening after Scouts

I remember the Chelsea game like it was yesterday. Me, me auld fella, titch and spanners all donned our full warrior kits, tied our 5 times flags around our necks like makeshift capes and marched for the Shankly gates. We bought our CHAMPIONS 13/14 t-shirts outside, made our way onto the kop and laughed as the Chelsea team was read out. During our mirth, I turned to my brethren and told them there was no way Chelsea were going to score today, the only way they will is if Gerrard falls flat on his face and gives them the ball, right in front of all of us. And he would not let it slip. We all shed tears of laughter.

That evening, after much arguing, binning of champions shirts, seething, mild violence and tears, I went for a walk. Cape still flapping behind me like a kingly robe, kit still held snug to my flesh, looking like a Sports Direct Superman

Gerrard on last season's failure and this season's hopes.

"When you play at this level the margins are so tight, so when you fall short of something having been within touching distance the emotions are still going to be raw and will take time to get over.
"The only way to do that is to go and achieve something this season. But the longer I've reflected upon it and analysed the season, you can look back and be proud of your teammates.
I believe we are in a much better place now than we were this time last year. The reason being because we've got the taste, the know-how and the experience of being in a title race. If we can use the hurt of falling short last season in our favour then hopefully we can go one better. I think this is the first time in a long time that I can be confident of telling people that we are the real deal and are real title contenders before a ball has been kicked."
