He was a horrific human being, diver, cheat, went out to injure players, bit people and a proven racist, but he scored the goals and made the goals that took you to within a Gerrard of winning the title, whilst belittling the club and taking the mick out of the fans at the same time.

On the plus side, those traits apparently made Rodgers a better person, which I can actually believe.
