Lets face it, Rodgers drift net approach to transfers would put any bigger star off...buying in bulk/wonder who's next in my position ? Roberto Martinez...quality, not quantity.

this is what i've been saying, as well as buying a few players i've never even heard of, they're paying extortionate over the odds amounts for players that aren't even interested by anyone else. there's only the lovren fee, which eventually got accepted anyway that has been knocked back? just reminds me of horrenderson when sunderland couldn't believe their luck when they offered £20m.

Last seasons excuse was 'we don't have the money to spend'. Before that is was the FA are against us, Fergie has the Premier in his back pocket, Suarez is getting picked on etc.. I wonder what this seasons reason will be for their failure to win the league? I reckon the grass was too green

us everton fans think up names that are realistic, we don't bother fantasizing ourselves with deals that are never ever going to happen. if we had pipped arsenal to 4th last season, we wouldn't have expected players like reus just because we were in the CL.

these are some of the best players in the world they think they can get, they weren't even in europe last season. even united are failing to attract the players they thought they could because of this sole season outside europe and they're a much bigger team than liverpool.
