ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

I think you are right, they over rate themselves. I cannot see Sterling stepping up and being a replacement for the Biter.

I think Sterling is a good player, but how were they ever going to make themselves an attractive place to play for the likes of Cavani etc.. when they're selling their only World Class player, in Suaréz? Not a good one imho.

I think it speaks loudly when Everton, a smaller club then them, have in my opinion, out performed them in the transfer market. The signing of Lukaku signals loudly the ambition of Everton, one of their rivals, meanwhile, the other team on their level, Spurs, have spent shrewdly, their main weakness was their defence for me, and the signings of Dier and Davies signals improvements on Dawson and Naughton. Again, with Vorm, it means they can regularly rest their star player, in Lloris, when having to travel to Russia in midweek.

Sturridge and Sterling both benefitted from a peak in form by an over the hill Gerrard, and an entirely attacking nature, which was spearheaded by... Suarez.

When i think of players who have bossed the Portuguese leagues, and then came here, i think of the likes of Van Wolfswinkel, Anderson, Nani, Deco and Manuel Fernandes, and they haven't done it here, to splash £20m on Markovic is has a high risk factor, and for £20m could be Aqualani mark II.
I personally felt that with Agger unsettled, and Sahko, Toure and Skrtel, they had a group of seriously unorganised central defenders, which drastically needed to improve, more than Left back, where Enrique is a good option, so to be planning on spending £20m again is silly when there are other options to splash on.

They're a nightmare in the transfer market, and i really do think they'll struggle. Roll on the Anfield 2 mile applause though

Could someone put Gerrards head on this instead of Brendas...

Anybody in here mocking that yellow kit they're sporting tonight? If not, let me be the first.

What is that shade of yellow? Mercy. Easy to see when they take the odd slip now and then.

Gerrard...never, ever,ever won a League Title anywhere.

Done nothing on the International Stage...
