I told him it was extremely rawkish too. Posting a link confirming they're huge spenders every year in an attempt to plead poverty in the face of (relative) achievement is beyond delusion. It's certifiably insane. He was effectively comparing their 130m net spend with our 3m and thinking they battled against the odds to come 2nd last year, saying nothing of our achievement in coming top 6 so consistently (and nothing about us finishing above them twice in a row before last season).

Crazy logic. We might be blue-tinted in our views but we always have at least one foot in reality.
