I think Balotelli is being under rated in this thread

He'd do well for them I reckon

Hopefully, he stays in Italy and doesn't sign for them
Agree, brilliant signing if they pull it off.

Everyone was saying Sturridge had an attitude problem when the RS signed him and look at him now...banging them in.

Difference is that sulking because you're not playing is not the same as getting sent off/not performaing, causing disruption on and off the field, and not scoring as many goals.

The lad is basically a cheeky version of Adebayor.

Never be world class. Ever.

unlike suarez, balotelli scores in the big games - he does also do something crazy at times - but when his head is on it he'll do things like single handedly like knock germany out.

yes he's inconsistant but i'd rather they not get a potential big game match winner.

Oh this is great. He is a very good player and at City he scored virtually 1 in 2 in 60 games or so.

But he has such a meltdown factor. Throw in 9 new players and Mario and that squad is going to be knocked sideways.

Can you imagine a worse influence for Sterling? Or a bigger threat to Sturridge's status as top striker?

The Southampton signings were all low profile happy to be there. This is going to be a circus now!

But that's just it: despite all the hullabaloo over not scoring in the big games, Suarez did something far more important - he put to the sword a lot of teams outside of the top tier...and there are far more games against teams like that than there are 'big games'.

And Balotelli wont be putting in the massive workrate Suarez did in the opposition half, that's for sure.

He's a handy player to have, yes. But as others have pointed out, for two of his three clubs he's hit roughly one goal in three games. He'd need to find the ratio he's had at Milan to be of any significant use to Liverpool. He couldn't do that in the PL with a City team bristling with players who could give him service.
