Ask yourself why AC Milan are letting him go for that price if he is such a top talent. Why they are only willing to listen to a permanent deal, instead of a loan.

Didn't Liverpool originally want to loan him ?

yeah..theres issues certainly, im hoping he goes in there and just winds everyone up lol

I bet theres mixed feelings over this. If they get him registered in time, he might play against City on Monday !! Rodgers clearly doesn't give a s*it that he looks as if he doesn't know his own mind...awaits press conference where he says "wee-ell...the last sthriker I didn't want to buy and we did turned out o-keah did he not". Gobsh extraordinaire

Like Davek has pointed out. He will give them the headlines, but not much else.

Sure he will score a few here and there but it won't be anywhere near the fella he is replacing. He is certainly not like for like either. Just on work rate alone, the comparison between him and Suarez is night and day.

He is 24 years old and if he signs, this will be his 5th club. This fact alone tells you all you need to know about the player and what he brings with him.

He's a terrible player, I wouldn't pay a penny for him and I genuinely mean that. He spends his time standing there doing absolute f all

Also I don't get this oh he's entertaining and so eccentric and a bit of a "lad"...he's just a pratt pure and simple and it's just annoying watching him in the prem x

Lets be right here, the lad's a very good player.

Unfortunately he's damaged goods, another flawed individual who the kopites will embrace and no doubt defend to the hilt when he gets sent off (regularly) stamps on someone, or burns down his rental in Formby.

A match made in Hell.

....it was reported this morning that the reds wanted a behaviour clause in the contract. More specifically, if he didn't behave himself then they could return him and get their money back. Not surprisingly, Milan wouldn't go for that so I presume that aspect is no longer there.

I don't understand that lot going for Balotelli - he's failed to impress at Milan, in many of his games for Milan he hasn't even tried and a large chunk of his goals come from penalties.

Weird.

The difference between him and Suarez is staggering. It's a massive drop in talent. Whereas Suarez just got his head down and strained every sinew every second of the game to get a win, Balotelli will just see his job as turning up with a goal every three games and will do practically nothing else. His market value reflects that.

If someone would have told me last spring Suarez would be taken away from Liverpool and replaced with that fruitcake Id have been doing cartwheels.

He'll go the way of shandy and Drenthe. He's richer than both of those combined, and he has form for living it large in the strip clubs here. His birds fit, but wait until some scouse beak-whore wraps her legs around him......
