I can't understand how the yanks would have sanctioned buying Balotelli given the pumeling their branding took over the Suarez incidents. I am not saying Balotelli has approached anything like that yet, but he has the potential! Glad they signed him!

ballotelli is simply terrible business for them but I bet they won't admit it.

They needed to sign a big name striker to replace suarez and nobody would actually sin for them. so next best option was the striker not even Milan want despite his desire to play for them.

The price baffles me. It is circa what City paid for him, and similar to Milan. With 3 years of a contract left, and that lot/Rogers desperate for a big name striker, Milan held all the cards.

So all I can think is that Milan wanted shut of the lad.
