I hate this because I like Balo. I am part italian and got a Balo shirt from the World Cup over the summer. I am hoping he doesn't go.

You should hold on to that shirt, it will be worth a lot of money after the kopites burn most of the existing ones in a year's time.

Falcao was their plan B, after Cavani. Balotelli was E or F. I'm sure Mario still feels very wanted though knowing this. I wonder if he knows the lengths his new club went to defend a racist. It wasn't that long ago he was in tears on the Milan bench after receiving racist taunts.

Lambert was their supreme plan A+, Balotelli was also part of Plan A+ (even though this is only just happening)

Falcao was just plan B, Cavani was plan C, Benzema was their ultimate backup plan in case it all went to pot. However, it's fine, because they've got their main targets.

I feel sorry for anyone here who liked the feller before he signed for Liverpool. Personally I've always thought he was the epitome of what you dont want from a professional footballer - a self-centred, over-paid thick tvvat.

Unfortunately he typifies what is wrong with football and what a good percentage if them are like now. He's a kid with millions of pounds and no one to answer to. Management don't care about looking after their clients, only the fees!

Is that true, though? This typical player who gets pages and pages of coverage for the very reason he isn't typical. It's not a knew phenomenon that players don't live up to their talent.

The majority of the press is away from football, antics off the pitch. On the pitch, he has a huge ego thinking he's better than he his when his level of consistency doesn't perform

Think if anything he'll thrive under Brendan. We all know he doesn't have the spine to do anything but coddle his players, no matter how despicably they act.
