I feel left out here. I must of been watching the wrong game but I could have sworn Sterling gave the ball away about 18 times last night and did a couple of good things. Against the better teams as he finds out for Liberpewl and England you don't get that many chances and you get punished if you keep giving the ball away. Potentially he can be very good no doubt but the judgements on his last few games for England on here have surprised me.

Totally agree.

He's got bags of pace and can beat a man and whip in a decent ball from out wide, but the hype about him is ridiculous. His finishing isn't great, he often makes the wrong decision when in a promising position. The media seem to want to have him as a striker or No.10 - same as they did with another whippet like winger - Walcott. He's being well over blown.

There are some great players coming through at the moment, Sterling sadly is one, as is Barkley, then the likes of Januzaj, James Ward-Prosse, Lukaku, Davies, there are several others, I'm sure our Liverpool friend and Meltdown could provide others from their own rabble, for us of course we also have Stones and Besic showing plenty of potential...

None of these are proven quality yet though, all could be, they have all proven they have quality, they have the age and skills on their side to become masters of their trade, but as for which ones will become Henry's and which will become David Bentley's its anyone's guess really.

Calling any of them anything beyond potential right now is just daft though.

James Wilson. He's the future up-front for United when RVP and Fat Man call it a day.

No one will know if Sterling will become world class, what I do like about him is awareness and he also tough for his size. He was impressive last season and also still impressive this season, thought he was poor in last night game.

still popped up with 2 key passes though

i think thats the diff between him and lennon/swp as much as people hate to admit it. got more of a final ball already.
