1) Gerrard to leave, and win title at some two-bit Aussie league club in his first season. So bittersweet for poor Stevie.
2) Gerrard to leave, and Liverpool win the title the following year (a much less palatable situation, but I would love to see Gerrard's face)

Gerrards management team leak hints that he's considering a move abroad should a new deal not be forthcoming....

So they fire straight back with a confirmation that they're going to offer him a deal to appease the fanbase.

Then if he doesn't accept their no doubt 'derisory' offer, LFC can spin it that he's merely chasing the coin....

He's done there imo.
 
All the RS I have the misfortune to work with have come in today giving it large - high fiving each other & pumping their fists in the air etc. Apparently they have a few easy games coming up now so "you don't know what's going to happen do you?"

They are unbelievable...

You should say "so from your four "easy" games before Christmas Day, two of them are v United and Arsenal ?" They will probably look at you with a gormless/arrogant gob and say "yeah....no danger". Then you smile sympathetically somewhat embarrassed at their naivety like you would
when someone insists that Bob Holness played sax on Baker Street. Unless its your works do, then of course by all means laugh in their gobs hysterically.

I hadn't seen the similarity between Doddy and Crooks myself though there are a few comedian ex-footballers around.
