They've reposted 'RAWKS Candle In The Wind' six verse dirge tribute to Rodgers over on the dark side as a broadside to his detractors on there. God knows, they'll be eating their own after Bournemouth do them next week down there in the freezing cold.

Yeah, you're right, but it's on my birthday ffs! But whoever it was they'd have been on the box, doesn't matter how much they're stinking the place out. It's all about Liverpool.

Mrs d'indica has a family connection to one of the Wimbledon top bods, we were thinking about going down and cheering them on, be brilliant to be there if the orcs get turned over.

They're a bit like Newcastle and Spurs though, for some reason the media love it when they're doing well, but seem to find it equally compelling if they're in crisis. Therefore they get televised either way. Clubs like us and Villa seem to annoy the media if we do well and its only mildly amusing for them if we nosedive. Neither seems to warrant being televised.

TBH Newcastle, Spurs and especially them do make great drama though.

Crystanbul, or the slip, were much funnier than anything it is possible to concieve of, as was Newcastle getting relegated at Villa and them chanting Shearers' name as they went down. Even the 1995 "Dream Final" being so comprehensively destroyed was more amusing than most semi-finals that there have been down the years.

Before the semi the media seemed full of the idea that United vs Spurs would be a dream final, it would grace Wembley, be what the neutrals demanded etc etc.

Obviously Amo happened and Royle jokingly apologised to the media afterwards.
