Yeah I saw that, it's almost as if Stevie Me having a bust up with him meant it was open season to blame him for all things that are crap about them this year. It really smacked of doing his mate a favour and came across as unprofessional considering what's supposedly gone on, although he was obviously right in what he said.

We'll be waiting a long time before they do an in depth analysis of Gerrard on MNF and how he's finished now, I suppose thats the benefit of being ex England captain and having one of your best mates on the programme.

How the hell Gerrard still plays nearly 2 games a week is beyond me. Brent should be using him like Fergie did with Giggs in the latter years - sparingly.
