ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

usually I'd say the rs could end up scumming two wins and winning the cup, but Jose would never allow that. He hates them as much as we do, no way is he letting them beat him.

It doesn't matter whether they win, lose or draw Mr Clever will always spout buffoonery.

“He was unfortunate not to score at Old Trafford but was a real threat there. He plays in that role Alexis Sánchez enjoys for Arsenal, not as an out-and-out striker but where his speed and movement causes problems: his ability to turn and drop in, his threat on the counter attack. He’s been the real catalyst for us this season.”

The 'real catalyst' that has propelled them to the giddy heights of 11th. and dumped out of the CL. Who wasn't good enough to start during the 'Miracle in Madrid' draw 'victory'.

And now Bodgers is attempting to compare Sterling to Sanchez, who has carried Arsenal this season, after 2 games playing up top and 2 goals against an under strength Bournemouth.

But comparing Sterling to Sanchez is a bit of a demotion for young Raheem.

Brendan Rodgers says Raheem Sterling’s breathtaking pre-season form for Liverpool FC has reminded him of Barcelona great Lionel Messi.

How mamy times could that tit say "outstanding". The team was, his tatctics were (lolz), and of course Stirling is now the best player in teh world again.

The 3 - 1 scoreline flattered them against a championship team who rested half their team, hit the post and missed a few sitters.

Hope Jose proper humiliates them.

Rodgers and the RS sheep are a perfect fit. Its the bubble they exist in...with a total reality bypass and rose tinted glasses view of how they really are. They are comfortable with each other because they are a snug fit...the personification of "Kopites are.......".The one saving grace is that wins like this will keep Rodgers seat warm for him for now...and whilst the beady eye of the FSG Boston traders look through a long lens at him, the reality is that he will never win their Holy Grail, The Premiership in his tenure.

The interviewer on Sky asked him about the draw pitching him against Chelsea.

He said "it doesn't matter who you draw at thIs stage".

Yeah right.

He was praying Blades came out the hat along with the RS.

So Liverpool play a first team against a championship outfit, who for their good run recently are not a powerhouse in the league they are in so fair play to them for doing well. So this first team cost included 25 million lallana, 20 million markovic/lovren. Is it just me or does 65 million probably buy you bornmouth football club?

So they went for the win, cant fault them on that. But last night should be expected to go as it did. They are throwing money around on players who should be better than championship players. They go into the semi now finally matched against a team who'd reserves are still better than their own. They will get beat in one game , i just hope now for the reality check it is a tie killing socreline when they do.

That draw was a fix, an FA conspiracy, those 2 Fergie puppets were told to stitch LFC up and make sure they got Chelsea. It will fail because nothing will stop Brenda from his number one target, the Capital One cup final.

They have beaten the mighty Bournemouth second team in the worthless cup. The absolute cringe that they seem to view this as some sort of worthwhile trophy displays just what a smalltime club they now are. Big clubs like United, Arsenal etc play their reserves in this competition, and get knocked out to teams like MK Dons without caring. It shows their small time mentality really.

Rodgers has put his strongest team out when they needed a rest before the far more important game against Arsenal at the weekend. It shows how paranoid he is, and how he lacks confidence in his fringe players that he didn't give them a chance. Can, Lambert etc must be chomping at the bit to get a chance.
