The liner Mullarky did them a favour by not drawing to the attention of the ref that Sterling put his hand into the face of Fernandez.

Maybe it is pay back time for not flagging for the Mata offside goal the other week at Old Trafford.

Come back on the 2nd (or even late afternoon on 1st). I think we're experiencing another 2005 moment - to be picked up in the New Year a la 2006.
 
I missed last night's game but I take it Pool were pretty decent? Swansea HAVE been decent this season but always bottle it at Anfield.

They really miss Montero when he doesn't play, Ki also missed last night didn't he?

Very good result for Poo that, has to be said - Swansea won't lose many games by that margin this season.

They're still rubbish and have blobfish as manager so I'm not arsed :D
 
Credit where it is due they are playing well or at least did last night. Lallana is starting to look something approaching a 25 million pound player. If it wasn't for their manager they'd have played like this all season.

Both sides have a lot of room to improve though, Once that lot get Sturridge back and if he actually stays fit it's inevitable that he will bang a fair few in because the lads a goal scorer. When it comes to us it's clear that we have a first eleven to [Poor language removed] the majority of teams in the league and that includes Arsenal, Spurs and Man Utd. For one reason or another though we just aren't doing the business out on the pitch. Whether it's down to tactics, aging personnel, a lack of pace or maybe even the fact that everybody's confidence is shot I don't know but the talent is certainly there.
