against 10 man sunderland and AFC wimbledon. the answer to the question asked was "kind fixture list"

They've got a mountain to climb there getting 4th place. They;'ll be in the mix for it if Sturridge comes back with any sort of form, but it'll be difficult for them to come out on top in a struggle with Spurs and Arsenal.

And Swansea, Southampton, West Ham, and, just maybe, L4

...last one's optimistic!

Out of those teams, S'ton might sustain it now they've had a slip and come back again. That's a good sign for them.

I know! Been good the last 2 matches. Well, better. But its a daft league this year. More so than normal.

they aint got a chance tbh, arsenal and united are streets ahead of them this season, even despite being terrible. i can't see liverpool being good enough to overaul soton either, spurs are purely down to luck, depends on that in that regard. how the feck we're below liverpool i don't know. would get good odds on us finishing above them though.

Poyet has hit the nail on the head.

"The beleaguered Gus Poyet criticised the inconsistency of the referee, Craig Pawson, who dismissed Bridcutt for two bookable offences but did not react to similar offences involving Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho. The Sunderland manager said: “The foul [by Bridcutt] stopped an attack and if I’m being honest it could have been a yellow card".

“But by the same rule, Coutinho should also have had two yellow cards. You cannot pick and choose – you either referee by the rules or by common sense, and I think the referee picked when he was going to referee by the rules and when by common sense, and that is not acceptable.” Guardian, Saturday 10 January 2015 18.42 GMT.

There are rules for the Sky 5, Manu, Chelsea, City, Arsenal and the RS and there are different rules for other teams. No wonder Hackett criticised how bad refereeing has become.

poyet will get fined for his comments, referee will be in the prem next gameweek, liverpool will win a game because of help from officials.

Imagine they finish 4th, but then we go and win the Europa league. Would UEFA change the rules again?

Why do they always say we've "won without winning" when we get decent results (i.e. drawing against them at anfield or city yesterday)? Where does this particular insult originate from?

It probably originates from their famous 3-2 win at Goodison a couple of years ago, when they scored that last minute winner and Gerrard ran 80 yards to celebrate with the kopites.

They still speak about it as if they won it, but I always seem to remember a 2-2 draw.

The original win without winning.
