Has anyone got the link to that article from a few years back which likens the reds to a cult?

It must be written by an Everton or United fan, as it's quite clearly written with dislike in mind, but it actually makes some good comparisons.
- Can't step out of line E.g Hodgson not spouting about them being the biggest in der werld
- Can't see when they've done wrong, and everyone against them must be lying e.g many, many times.
- their actual religious hymn every game

My mate who's a Bolton fan just called them a cult to me because he's seen loads of them spouting crap today about Bony going for levels of money the "reds can't compete with".

"I would love to see some genetic research on those who choose to be a Blue and those who opt for the Reds in Liverpool. If, as neuroscientists are attempting to locate at the moment, there is a “god gene”, I would imagine it is more prevalent in Liverpool followers than Everton supporters. (This doesn’t mean they are closer to god but more disposed to believing in one)."

They've definitely got the 'odd' gene.

Most of them seem to have an extra 23rd chromosome, which is harsh on those that actually do.

His point was that after playing every week, playing a bit-part role is not how he wanted to finish his career. It is not really about what Liverpool Football Club wants, it is about what Steven Gerrard wants.

Ian Ayre hits back at Gerrard saying he'd have signed a contract in the summer and putting to bed the myth that Gerrards a team player.
