Why's he necking the oppo manager ?

Would love you to be right. Another year of no trophies and no champions league qualification would probably see Rodgers fired, Gerrard leaving and Sterling wanting out. There's really not much else left to work with there. The Evertonian within knows that when we're doing rubbish they tend to rub it in hence the trepidation when you see the cup draw just opening up for them, United and Arsenal messing about in the league, and Chelsea starting to play awful just to coincide with the league cup semi.
Chelsea will shred them on Tuesday - LC down
Bolton look like they can cause an upset in that replay, and Arsenal or United will take Liverpool down anyway - FA Cup out the window
There's some very tasty teams left in the EL looking for that CL place - they dont stand a chance in that.

Pretty sure it'll work out that way.

I wonder if Gnashers is going to come out and explain his formation today?

Oh no, they were held at home by a Championship team.

@BenDinnery: Rodgers confirms Sturridge will return to full training on Sunday & could be involved against Chelsea on Tuesday in the Capital One #LFC
the pressure on sturridge to "deliver" will break him IMHO,I think he'll more than likely return for a couple of cameos then he'll be out for another six weeks and season over.

More from some BBC nipple reviewing the Liverpool game.

Luck was not on the side of Rodgers's side today, but unlike fellow past winners Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham they live to fight another day in the FA Cup.
A similar display at the Reebok Stadium should see them through to the fifth round.

Ah well....plenty of time from Sunday-Tuesday for Sturridge to earn another panel note (self certification note for younger viewers) before the match. That's if they're training days though..and not Danny's 'recovery' days beloved by Todgers
