ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC"

Always happens with Rodgers, as soon as he gets the smallest bit of good form going he puts on this smug narcissistic aura as though he's Shankley or something and the ultimate judge of players and likes to make out that any rubbish players he's splurged their money on aren't part of 'his group' and that they're in some way unprofessional. Then when its not going well for him he just likes to whine that he hasn't received enough money or that the grass is too long.

Its called "waffling" mate

Rodgers double speak.
I've shown in my time here that if players who have been out the fold for various reasons work hard every day in training, and show intensity and focus, then they have every chance of getting back in the side and staying there."
Translated as " if my favourites get injured your in , when they're back your out"

It always amazes me how he turns everything into his personal success. Like he was the first person to ever think of it. He tries makes it sound like he invented the 'your not playing well, your dropped' ideology. The mans a bad, bad bellwhiff.

And has lips like sundried earthworms.

Its a great shame Rodgers isn't allowed a greater say over transfers. Two of his best players at the moment Henderson and Lucas he actively tried to force out the club. He also apparently doesn't rate Sakho over Lovren but injury has forced him to play him. I think Rodgers deserves a new contract with total unlimited control over transfers. He's shipped out the deadwood like Kuyt, Reina, Agger, Suarez, Carragher snd Gerrard, now he should be backed all the way in pursuit of his top targets Ashley Williams, and Berahino.

I genuinely think Sakho is their worst ever buy. worse even than 35mil Carroll. Sakho is utter dross.

Just waiting on waffle Rodgers to throw Mario under another bus now.

The waffling one is just lulling everyone into a false sense of security as we all know he likes the sound of his own voice!

Mario Balotelli: Liverpool striker will get more chances - Rodgers

Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli will not be sold in the January transfer window and will be given every chance to fight his way back into the team, according to manager Brendan Rodgers.

Balotelli was left out of Saturday's FA Cup fourth round goalless drawwith Bolton, prompting speculation the 24-year-old's career at Anfield was over.

But Rodgers said on Monday that was "not the case at all".

"It's been a difficult period for him but he's a good boy," added Rodgers.

...

But Rodgers added: "I've seen some bits this morning suggesting that's him done here. That's not the case at all.

"I've shown in my time here that if players who have been out the fold for various reasons work hard every day in training, and show intensity and focus, then they have every chance of getting back in the side and staying there."

Rodgers the no mark is laughable. The self important statements he comes out with. It's astounding he comes out with that stuff when he's won nothing himself and the one time he gets control of a club capable of spending to win trophies he takes them to the final hurdle and bottles it.

Imagine the conversations Balotelli and his agent have about Gnashers. They must be in bulk.

Mate. It was one of the posters on here that mentioned the "waffle waffle" bit.

Every time he speaks that is all I hear these days. Can't take a word he says seriously.

Mario Ballotelli. What did anyone expect there? FFS. :coffee:

He's found his swagger in the last few weeks. As you would if you'd spent £300M on a squad that resides in 8th place in the table.
