This is unreal. We could have won the Champions League if we still had last seasons team. How do the new purchases feel after that little gem? So, then he says, we could win it with this years team had we not of been knocked out. He's basically blaming the format of the CL for the fact they wont win it. He rationalises this by essentially saying, we're weren't the best team in it and we got found out during two legged ties in what was considered the weakest group of them all, but, we could of fluked it had we been given a bye to the knockout stages.
