Rodgers ego costs that club everytime he opens his gob, the longer he's there wasting money on tosh and paying them huge wages the funnier it gets.

He'll have FSG in the bankruptcy court before he's finished their and all they'll have to show for it is a second place finish and a trip to Madrid that they bottled, long may he reign!

I think we both know thats the one thing that wont happen with FSG. Got a touch of a smoother Mike Ashley for me, top half will do and first 4 is a bonus, self imposed wage cap, sell off the better talent for significant profit and eventually move the whole shebang on for a major profit on their investment.

They did mate that was back in 09, Yossi's header thats the last time they acknowledge playing Madrid because of course the whole first half of this season didn't happen.....in fact they'd probably beat Madrid now if they were in the ECL, why aren't they again? Hmm don't remember that bit.

Like almost every other club they now have to get used to living within their means. They had the perfect owners in Hicks and Gillette spending whatever money they wanted even if they didnt have it. They're now demanding the same from the new lot. They'll have tge pitchforks out for 'dem yanks' once again soon ebough when the stadium cost limuts big transfers.

I had to read it twice and then check this isn't April 1st before it sank in.

That was the reason I dug back to what Rodgers said previously and now trying to dig himself out of the Henderson situation. For all his empty rhetoric and acting cool at press conferences with his garbled soundbites, he doesn't think through the consequence of what he says....and this has come back to bite him. FSG have dug their heels in over Stirling plus now seemingly Henderson, while Rodgers, with scant regard for his credibility, has sought damage limitation to keep the Yanks sweet by changing his mind with his recent quotes over Henderson. He's a joke trying to say its the press that have bigged Henderson up (and consequently bigged up his "stock" ££££s wise) as if the FSG don't have analysts monitoring the media over here knowing full well what the berk is churning out.

Yeah, because it'd be great for the city, right? And they're not bitter at all, right? Like last year when Liverpool were looking like winning the league and sound as a pound reds signed up to GOT in their droves for a bit of light-hearted "banter" and reasoned football discussion with their blue cousins to wish them well in their quest for 4th place.

That was the superior kopites showing the way in non-bitter discussion between reds and blues, wasn't it? Had absolutely nothing to do with the fact they were celebrating winning the league weeks before they went and threw it away and wanted to come on and patronise plucky little everton at all, right?

Right. So I'm sure that even though they're only challenging for 4th this season, they're right behind us again in our push for an EL win. Because as they say, they're not bitter.

We should let them come on again when they next fancy it. We shouldn't just immediately perma-ban them. That would be wrong.

Oh hang on, yeah. Pretending to be a blue must be a therapeutic release for them. We've not mortally halmed anyone, stole tickets or been classed by UEFA as the worst fans on the continent. We don't even sway ambulances.

And not one of them from near the city themselves. The replica top may impress whatever little backwards inbred village they're from but on here, nah, we know what you are. Your own local fans can't stand you.
