People don't need to pray that Chelsea dominate the League. For as long as Abramovich is still in situ there bankrolling them...the RS will never get nearer than 2nd place. The RS call us bitter for many reasons...justifiably bitter after the Heysel ban too....whilst deluding themselves into thinking theyre paragons of virtue. With respect, you must be very naïve of you think that, should the boot be on the other foot, the RS wouldn't want Chelsea...or anyone else for that, to stop us winning anything.

hahaha they are really that stupid that no matter whenever we blow any chance we ever have, they are still easy to laugh at. Do they not realise when they join this site that it looks a little odd that your first posts are always in this thread and usually defending Liberpewl. At some point though, surely even nobhead Rodgers will get a transfer window right and spend wisely and accurately. Yes there is no evidence of this previously but surely he can't keep messing this up. Sterling goes and incredibly they will receive more money for him than when Barca shipped over the millions for Toothy.

I don't know why but my gut is telling me that if/when Sterling goes, the tens of millions they receive will be used more accurately and they will once again come out smelling of valentine.

When i mean once again, I wasn't referring to their honours list as such.

I'm referring to the sheer amount of luck, always seem to be in the right place at the right time to take advantage. You know very well what i mean by all of this but off the top of my head, without going too far into it, take this years F.A Cup as the very latest example of ' always seem to be in the right place at the right time to take advantage '.

Summer 2014 when Toothy got on his bike to Barcelona and Rodgers went spending the cash wildly on Mr. bang average, on paper their squad was exactly like the calibre of players he brought in... bang average. Fast forward 8 months and here they sit, will probably qualify for the CL with the lowest ever points total for finishing 4th, will probably be in yet another cup final, will get crazy money for a player who utterly doesn't deserve that price tag and........... smelling of valentine again.

Sure the jury is certainly out on Rodgers' ability in the transfer market but im just saying that surely, even he can't keep messing this up. My gut is telling me they will get that right at some point. Just like they always do.

I dont think they operate at the same market place as the top clubs. They'd have to pluck about 4/5 £15/20M players from somewhere who all made the step up to world class with them at the same time to even out the disparity of class of player they deal in. They havent got the wage bill for superstars who defo win you titles etc.

They'll be a big club again when they get taken out of FSG hands and placed in the hands of a sheik or oligarch.
