I dont think they operate at the same market place as the top clubs. They'd have to pluck about 4/5 £15/20M players from somewhere who all made the step up to world class with them at the same time to even out the disparity of class of player they deal in. They havent got the wage bill for superstars who defo win you titles etc.

They'll be a big club again when they get taken out of FSG hands and placed in the hands of a sheik or oligarch.

you mean lallana, lovren, allen, sakho and henderson?

they have bought those players ... they're just not worth anything close to what they paid hahaha idiots

It's a strange one really. When you consider the total number of trophies won over the history, they are among the best. But recent history? However we will be no where near them if we consider recent history. Thank God they didn't win league last season.

And @ the people who is praying for United/Chelsea to dominate the league to keep Liverpool away from winning, where is your ambition? . Why can't you dream for us to challenge for the league. That's why RS calls us bitters. Our first priority should be to see Everton win some trophies or finish as high as possible. Its really sad to see some fans wants us to loose against Arse and United so that Liverpool may not reach CL place.
Hey, welcome lad.... What's your fav brand of sausages ? Or ice cream ?

You really blaming Heysel for why we suck now? C'mon man.

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has apologised to his followers on Twitter – after he shared a video of Wayne Rooney being knocked out from The Sun newspaper.

The former Anfield defender uploaded the video while advising the Manchester United captain to seek some boxing coaching.

After quickly realising his error, Carragher swiftly removed the Tweet which featured an exclusive video linking to The Sun’s website.

The ex-Reds stopper then Tweeted again to say sorry for the previous post.

He said: “Apologies on the Rooney clip for obvious reasons. Deleted now.”

Liverpool fans have an an ongoing grudge against The Sun after it inaccurately reported the events of the Hillsborough disaster back in 1989 when 96 fans lost their lives.

I don't get it. What are the depths that are being sunk to?

Yakshimash!

I am from Kazakhstan and LFC is most popular club over here. There are over 10 000 members in official fan club. When England came here in 2009, LFC players were met as heroes by 200 supporters in the airport and MU, Chelsea players were booed.

I have been to Thailand, Hong Kong, China, India and Nepal and LFC is on par with United as most popular club there.

There are many young supporters who started to follow the club when Michael Owen was there, after 2001 triumph, Istanbul, FA cup 2005, CL final 2007, Torres attracted many fans too and now Suarez.

The club sell around 1 M shirts per annum and is biggest seller for Adidas. Standard Chartered pay 20-25 M a year which 2- clubs in the world can match and next season Warrior will replace Adidas and pay record breaking 25 M per annum. If LFC was loosing popularity business would not pay such moner.

I would pay a lot of money myself to watch all and only LFC games.

BTW I have never met an Everton fan outside of UK and all scouse expats I met in Kazakhstan were Reds

I'm confused here mate.
Are you saying you're a red ?
