To be fair, Brendan Rogers tactics at Selhurst Park is what ultimately cost them the title........

It was already nearly gone by then, Mikey.

They handed City the imitative on Denba Ba Day.

But you are right about Rodgers's tactics that day......when Jose parked the bus Brent should and told his players to wait at the bus stop instead of trying to break the door down to get on ;)

Chelsea at home too mate, should have just sat and taken the point instead of being so naive in trying for the win.

Nope, they were pretty comfortable at 0-0 in that game until captain marvel's slip. After that they HAD to go all out for a goal in the second half. It was Gerrard that cost them the title, single-handedly

Why would Clarke even consider doing that?

And what could Slippy possibly say to, for example, Rory McIlroy which woukd inspire him to greater heights?

The world's leading golfer and a well past his sell by date nearly man.

It beggars belief.

Picture the scene.

Slippy gathers them all round in a huddle at the first tee.

"Right Rory....and the rest of yiz.....we don't let this slip now, la'.......we go Minnesota......we go again......"....:coffee:

But the 'Assassin of Anfield' could always propose the Ryder Cup team do this to their American opponents..

But Rodgers ego wouldn't have allowed that, he wanted to show the football world and the 'special one', who really was special. And that will always be Mr Clever's downfall.

Oh dear I wonder what Carragher meant by this.

Raheem Sterling, 20, should sign the contract that Liverpool have offered him or risk incurring the anger of their supporters, according to former Reds defender Jamie Carragher.
