Back on to sterling, don't understand why most of you don't rate him, he only 20 and already showing quality

Don't think he's all that at all. He's got talent but he's not arsed, plus it seems if you put him on his left he's quiet.

Add in the fact they genuinely think he's the best young talent in all of Football and it makes it unbearable.

He'll be in Spain with 12 months getting the Bale treatment.

He one of the best kids in this league

I went to rawk before and there's a thread talking about Pele being there at the Man U match. Not very complementary, in fact they were mostly snide remarks. There were references to the fact that he played at Goodison in the 1966 WC, entirely negative, and an awful lot of
the posts were saying that Pele was overrated as a footballer, many from posters who admitted that they hadn't seen him play.

There was one post that amused me and it stated that the standard of football in the sixties when Pele played was lousy. Er, isn't that
the time when, Bill Shankly, the LFC messiah, turned them into the greatest team that ever was and still is?

Not in the world, but lets name the best kids in Europe under 21

Nowhere near any of them. He'll be nowhere near the likes of Bale unless he suddenly goes through a massive transformation. For the likes of Bale and Ronaldo though that jump to superstardom came when they started to play regularly. Sterling has been doing that for 3 seasons now and for half of that time he's been utter rubbish. The rest of the time he's supposedly 'setting the league in fire' he is actually just clocking up average goal and assists tallies.

He'll turn out to be a decent prem player but nowhere near the best in the world. There hasn't been one thing he's done where I've thought 'wow what a player' like I did Barkley v Newcastle, City, QPR, Norwich. Most of his hype is based on the free reign him and Sturridge had tapping in Suarez's assists. That season they were being played in one on one with the keeper nearly every game. This season without Suarez what has he done? Best moment was Chelsea in the semi final but that's it. He's done nothing for England either just like Sturridge.

A whole host of players have built their reputations on that one 5 month patch when Suarez went into God mode. Henderson, Sterling, Sturridge, and even Courtinho, are now starting to be seen for how average they are when everything isn't on a plate for them.

Well Pele was on the Anfield pitch longer than Slippy.
