I read an excellent comment from a Liverpool fan last night (I recall not where) but it was actually very good.

She was most aggrieved at Rodgers' constant lauding of LFC's 'history' and was well aware that it was a tactic to keep the fans onside. She was very strident in her views that Rodgers has only just arrived and has played no part whatsoever in the history of the club.

He struts around like Foghorn Leghorn like he is part of the fabric of the club. Before he arrived, it's fair to say that most of us had seen LFC play more times than him.
+1 for the Foghorn Leghorn reference.

Remember when the club slowly bought up housimg around the ground and let the whole area turn into a slum so they could buy the rest cheaper?

yes I do, there were some links to pictures on it in here a few weeks ago, can anyone link them up for me please ???

But in fairness, Brenda had been to see them at analfailed more times than most of them.
