When Chelsea let Sturridge go for a relatively measly £12m, it was seen as a fantastic piece of business by Rodgers. A superb acquisition.
Maybe now people are starting to realise why Chelsea were willing to let him go, as he has quite often been out with injuries over his career.
It's more embarrassing that when he's not fit, Rodgers would rather use a fake-number-9 approach rather than utilise the strikers at his disposal.
