The RS will have come to hate this time of the season given this and last year. Especially The Talismanic Skipper. You can almost hear Fate saying...."well I gave you Villa in the draw Stevie, but the gob**ites couldn't even sort it to get you to the Final for your big birthday bon voyage. So how bout I let you lead the Guard of Honour for Chelsea at a packed house at The Bridge next week....Ive even arranged it that its on television so everyone can see you do it, titty lip an all....you like everyone watching you don't you Ste....hey .....Ste ? "

But we know what will happen. Chelsea will have the trophy and be in Party mood, the RS will put in their best display of the season and the headlines will be about how Brenda and Stevie beat the Champions........

gerrard's farewell season, after everything bad that's happened and everything that was "written in the stars" falling apart - his last real act will be stand in a guard of honour for the team he made that famous slip against. the team who cost them the title who have gone on to win it themselves the following season - how marvelous.

Mourinho will never be beaten by one of his apprentices, never mind Liverpool, Chelsea could play their U21's and Mou still wouldn't let Liverpool win at the bridge.
