So a handful of decent signings over the last 11 years makes us good at buying players? We're [Poor language removed] shocking at it and have got progressively worse since FSG turned up.

That's what I put in an earlier post.

Downing, Adam, Enrique, Assaidi, yesil, Alberto, Caroll, lovren, ballotelli, borini, lambert, Nunez, josemi, morientes, Allen, markovic, mignolet, babel, aqualani, arphexad, Aurelio, cheyrou, diao, Diouf, degen, diomede, Cavaliers, dossena, Gonzalez, gullacsi, itanje, josemi, kyriakos, le tallec, diarra, Leto, luzi, maxwell, medjani, navaro, Ngog, padelli, paletta, nielsen, pelligrino, riera, rocca, plessis, pongolle, traore, vignal, xavier, zenden, zeige, ayala, Cole, doni, jovanovic, konchesky,Moses, plessis, poulsen, sahin, shelvey, kyriakos, voronin, wilson, pennant, El zhar, nemeth, and this list can go on and on, yet you can quote 4 successes I'm sure there are a few more successes in there, but I can tell you there are tons more failures, our transfer record is shocking, we have to be one of the worst clubs when it comes to transfers.

Not good.

Haha, you have to be careful hitting nails on the head like that on RAWK, guy could have a permanent ban in his near future.

oh the humour...

Liverpool FC transfer gossip: Reds considering Andrea Pirlo bid
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spor...ews/liverpool-fc-transfer-gossip-reds-9212402

He might be Pirlo, but he is 104 and obviously looking for one last big payday if Juventus have told him he's past it.

£200,000 week and a three year contract? Come on Brenda you know it makes sense.

Oh look, another player to add to the 'linked with the RS but wont actually go near the RS' list

Hahaha, the "Shankly Hotel" could have a kids playground item on the outside of it!

Haha as if a hotel (especially one that isn't connected with the club/stadium) dedicated to a player/manager wasn't sad enough, they're sticking a big slide on it and charging people to use it.

"Oh he was a great guy, was Bill........WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Seen them coming this owner hasn't he?

An agent ITK on Twitter who called the Depay transfer from start to finish ahead of all the other sources I seen reckons the RS offered Depay more money than UTD.

It would be simply delightful if Depay comes out and says something like this in his press conference.

"Yeah, Liverpool offered me more but I met with the manager and he was one slimy irritating guy who kept going on about how he masterminded a 2-0 defeat when he was manager of a team called Swansea or something, how he didn't train dogs and that I would be a better person for knowing him and would be able to defend a corner. I decided that I would play anywhere else even if it was for less money"

I can just see the RS swaying with their lighters and flannelette sheet ill-spelt banners (careful they don't catch now) saying "Pirlo would be the new Gary Mac... an inspired tho al arse signing". And of course, in reality, a bit different in that he would cost a fortune, wouldn't like the weather here....and significantly, wouldn't come. Then again, not that different to all the other Rodgers supposed targets who aren't targets.

He's past it. If they spend a huge wedge on him it will be funny.
I wouldn't say he's past it at all, although it'd be an odd time for him to try his hand in a fast-paced league.

Besides, it'd be heart breaking purely because he's so cool and iconic, and they're a gang of undeserving whoppers.

Won't happen anyway.
