It’s weekends like this that I’m glad I’m an American. All I have to do in order to avoid the Stevie Me media saturation is just avoid the sites and that’s it. I don’t get SSN here in the States, I rarely read the Echo and when I do it’s just to read the articles written by the EFC writers and David Prentice and I’m not surrounded by cult members like many of you are who live in Merseyside, so it’s easy for me to avoid the saturation.

The closest thing I have gotten to the saturation is listening to Mark Madden. He’s a media personality on the radio here in Pittsburgh (and his show is the highest rated show in the city) and a HUGE Kopite and I mean HUGE. All this week on his show (and his twitter page) he’s done nothing but waxing the lyrics of Stevie Me, to the point where he says he’ll be crying when Gerrard last match in a LFC shirt is over (the man is in the mid 50s BTW). It was enough fanboy gibberish to make you sick.

He even wrote about Slippy in the weekly column he writes for the Beaver County Times.

Sounds a bit like Aldo,he makes people feel sick.
 

Funny thing is, Slippy is only 34...and turned down a new contract offer from Liverpool....

So despite all the BS from him today....and despite all the BS from the media today....the only reason he won't be playing at anfield next season is because he wanted more money than they offered him....he's already a super rich guy, but he'd rather play for an American team than the club he "loves", just because they'll pay him more.....

Now don't get me wrong....good luck to anyone out there who can get paid more to do an easier job elsewhere...but just admit that you're doing it for the money, stop talking sh1t and be honest....the media spend loads of time criticising foreign players as being "mercenaries", will that's exactly what Slippy is doing....
He's leaving Liverpool because of greed...

That's right. In true kopite denial mode though, the RS wont allow the truth to get in the way of a good wallow. All the bull.... "he turned down Real Madrid and Chelsea". Well hes now turned down Liverpool FC too - aka " Im looking for a new and exciting challenge in L.A."

i am pretty astonished that not one media outlet has even bothered to print the truth. because you've just written it down there. one man club my arse. the continued lies about him staying at liverpool for love and not following mourinho. he sh*t his pants when he saw bullets and made a u-turn.

but why would he lie? he knows how the RS infested media works, they wouldn't dare call him out for what he is. has anyone seen that "england's worst ever XI team" show from BBC3. the only time i've ever seen it broadcasted how someone points out his flaws.
